Very good and reminds me of the famous Frog Haiku of Basho http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-old-pond/ If you have not heard of it, never mind – I hadn’t either until Mr Squires and Brad kept referring to it and I asked them what the hell they were talking about 😉 If you put the third line and the end of the 2nd line, it will indeed be a Basho type haiku – hahaha – good stuff (and you know how much I love frogs). Your frog is very cute 🙂
I had heard about Basho. There was a very good article in National Geographic about him and his long walk across mountains and country side. I like a lot your link with all sort of translations, very creative and funny.
