Venezia in digital colours

Gondoles-w

I drew from a photo I saw on Flickr on opaque mylar with black ink and then added the colour digitally with photoshop.
Drawing with ink on mylar is like skating on perfect ice!

  1. The portraits that you’re doing at Julia Kay’s portrait party are fabulous. Was just looking at some of the lastest, the pairing of monochromatic drawing verses color versions — they are so amazing. Different moods, so many different qualities in them.

    • Mylar is a sheet of plastic, transparent or opaque, used in drafting and graphics design. When drawing on it with ink, the lines are crisp and the black very black.
They used transparent mylar or similar when doing cartoons, now it is all digital.

      Thank you Gabrielle.
